The Springfield Project

About Us

The Springfield Project is a charity based in Sparkhill, Birmingham. We believe that every child, young person, and adult in our community has the right to reach their full potential in life. That is why we run community activities which empower, enable and enrich the lives of hundreds of local children, young people and families. At our base in The Springfield Centre and at our Park Road site, we provide a range of educational, welfare, and recreation services for local children and families to combat poverty and help people to lead happy and healthy lives. 😊🦷 Lets look at our School Readiness Stay and Play 😊🦷 Lets look at our School Readiness Stay and Play celebrated the World Oral Health Day: Happy Mouth, Happy Mind last week😊🦷 Startwell

This year we celebrated how a healthy smile supports a happy mind 💛

We met Toothie 🧸, our friendly mascot, who helped families learn simple ways to keep little smiles bright and healthy!
✨ Smiley Shen’s Top Tips for Families:
🪥 Brush teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste
🍎 Choose healthy snacks and limit sugary treats
💧 Drink plenty of water
🦷 Visit the dentist regularly

😄 Healthy teeth help children feel confident, sleep better, and enjoy life more
A happy mouth meant less pain, more smiles, and happier children! 💫
Thank you to all the families who took part and supported healthy habits 🌱
